Looking after it
Cold water, 30 degrees or below, hand wash or a gentle machine cycle in a mesh bag. Use a detergent with no enzymes and no bleach. Air dry out of direct sun and keep it out of the dryer. Iron on the lowest setting, on the reverse, if you iron it at all.
About this product

The real-silk long set. Hand wash, and the most expensive thing on this site after the men's silk robe.
This is the silk one. The satin long set on this site is polyester at about a third of the price and is a different product.
16 momme, which is lighter than the 22 momme pillowcases on purpose: a pyjama set at 22 momme would be heavy to sleep in.
Two sizes only, Small and Large. There is no medium, and that is the live store's own range rather than an omission here.
Hand wash, cold, enzyme-free, shade dry. This set does not go in a machine.
Silk sleepwear behaves differently from silk bedding. A pillowcase takes wear in one place; a pyjama set takes it at every seam, which is why this is woven lighter at 16 momme and why the care instructions matter more.
Momme is how silk is weighed rather than counted, because the thread is too fine for a useful thread count. 16 is a garment weight, 19 is a sheet weight and 22 is a pillowcase weight, and this site uses all three.
Two sizes is a narrow ladder for a garment. Measure before you order, and if you are between the two, ask us.
The satin long set on this site does the same job for a third of the price and goes in the machine. Both are here on purpose.
