Looking after it
Cold water, 30 degrees or below, hand wash or a gentle machine cycle in a mesh bag. Use a detergent with no enzymes and no bleach. Air dry out of direct sun and keep it out of the dryer. Iron on the lowest setting, on the reverse, if you iron it at all.

The only robe on this site that is actually silk. The satin robe beside it is polyester and costs a quarter as much.
This is the silk robe. The other men's robe on this site is a polyester satin weave at about a quarter of the price, and both are here on purpose.
19 momme mulberry silk, which is lighter than the 22 momme used for the pillowcases. A robe at 22 momme would hang like a curtain.
One size, with a tie belt. There is no size ladder on this product, so if you are at either end of the range it is worth measuring first.
It is a hand-wash garment. If that is not going to happen in your house, buy the satin one and be happier with it.
A silk robe is a different object from a satin one, and the difference is mostly weight and drape. Silk at 19 momme is light and falls close to the body; polyester satin is stiffer and stands away from it.
The trade is laundry. This one needs a cold hand wash, an enzyme-free detergent and a shaded line. The satin robe goes in the machine.
One size means one size. There is no small or large on this product, which is worth knowing before ordering rather than after.
Momme is how silk is weighed rather than counted. At 19 this is substantial for a garment without being heavy to wear.
